Job description:  Interviewer

Hours:
Student or limited duration employee, part-time, variable hours

Estimated work:
30 – 50 interviews @ 2 hours each, including travel and data entry, and 40 hours analysis and report preparation time

Desired completion date:
July 31, 2008           

Rate:
$10.00 to $11.00 per hour

Tasks:

Under general direction, conduct in-person or telephone interviews with physician offices and other clinical sites for the AMCHP Smoking in Pregnancy project of the RI Public Health Institute.

  1. Conduct interviews with a key staff person in a sample of prenatal care providers’ offices about smoking cessation practices and needs.
  2. Work with RI Department of Health Staff who will interview a key staff person in WIC Clinics and Family Planning Programs
  3. Enter and verify data from all the surveys into an Excel database.
  4. Transfer data into an appropriate analytical program for analysis and conduct an initial analysis.
Participate in meetings and other activities as may be needed to complete this survey and assist in drafting the report.
